can someone describe all the types of social workers. i know there are the average social workers and then there is the medical social worker. i have an interest in this career and i want to help people and their community. if you could tell me both what these two types of social working does and their daily lives i would appreciate it!!!!! also i plan on moving to Washington the state WA (not dc) so if you know what are some good schools to choose from please tell me; i had average grades (not Straight A's or anything) also very IMPORTANT i have interest in medical things .like medical terminology,psychology and how the body functions, is there any careers that you suggest that would utilize that knowledge, i thought social working would but it would help if i knew the daily life of one. i have no interest in being a doctor or a nurse, however i do have some interest in counseling and what not. I am also aware that social working is one of the lowest paying college ed required job. also what classes would be needed to become one. and do you suggest getting a higher degree than a bachelors, and the reasons for the suggestion.
